PROPERTY TOUR

NET POSITIVE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE
We view this home as an opportunity to demonstrate What sustainable hospitality can look and feel like. Acueducto is a fully off-grid property, which brings all our resource use into greater focus. The home is powered by an expansive solar power system and has a backup propane generator. Guests will avoid using electricity derived from the fuel oil generators in La Paz, Some of the dirtiest power in North America.
Water — our most precious resource in the desert — is trucked in and as such, is highly valued and should be enjoyed responsibly. Special focus was spent on the wastewater system - utilizing several mechanical and biological filters - so that the water can be safely reused to irrigate the permaculture gardens. Composting, recycling, and reduction of single-use plastic are Emphasized to reduce our landfill impact. Rest assured, guests will know that Acueducto will always endeavor to increase positive impacts through the community and environment while working to reduce our negative outputs
